The novelty of this 7th Yoga festival is that we are adding a theme: Ahimsa.
In times where violence is rampant around us - wars, genocide, animal abuse, environment destruction, we feel compelled to sparkle the light of non-violence through Yoga.
Ahimsa - अहिंसा - Non Violence - is a central tenet in yoga philosophy and a vital part of the first Yama in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
All teachers who will participate in this year’s edition are invited to prepare their class around this topic and deliver the message of non-violence to the students who will join - raising questions and guiding everyone through a self-reflection.
Finally, this year, the festival will be dedicated to raise funds for the NGO Crete for Life.
